In order to have everything that I create work properly, it is advisable to have the same Expansion and Stuff Packs that I do. I have all Expansion and Stuff Packs except Happy Holiday Stuff. Every EP and some SPs change the way lots and objects are treated by the game. Every EP and SP comes with new objects that can be recolored. If you install a lot that has something you don't, you run the risk of a borked game. I will not be held responsible if you install my lots, sims, and objects and your game goes KABOOM due to you not heeding this warning.

You must have some means of unpacking the .zip files that all my stuff comes bundled up in. WinZIP and WinRar both offer free trials of their archival software. However 7zip is both free and open source. You can decide for yourself what you want

Lots and Sims have been scanned with the Clean Installer. You should get it as well, just to make doubly sure you aren't getting something stupid when you download things. If you are reading this, you've already had a link to the Clean Installer in front of you. Use it!

Something else you will want to have if you plan on getting recolored objects is the Color Enabler Package. The CEP makes sure all those pretty recolors show up.
